At the end of June, Munich is once again transformed into a vibrant festival city, and has been for 150 years: the first “Festive Summer” took place in Munich in 1875. Since then, the Munich Opera Festival has developed into a cultural highlight. You can look forward to three premieres, eleven other opera productions, top-class festival song recitals and numerous concerts.
#BSOrusalka The protagonist in Antonín Dvořák's Rusalka is prepared to give up her immortality for a human soul in order to win the love of the prince. Martin Kušej's visually stunning production returns to the stage of the National Theatre for three performances in June.
