Vincent Millet, born September 26th 1966, completed his light design studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Art et Techniques du Théâtre (ENSATT) in 1989 and subsequently became assistant to the stage director Laurent Pelly, while also contributing to the works of Philippe Decouflé and Blanca Li.

In 1999, Millet launched his career as light designer for theatre, opera and dance, providing light installations for a number of productions both in the field of dance as well as drama. He was also commissioned to create light designs for the Korean National Ballet on three separate occasions: For La Fille mal gardée (choreography: Samantha Dunster according to Dauberval), Les Noces (chor.: Kim Gueng-soo) and Prince Hodong (chor.: Kook Su-Ho, to traditional Korean music).

Most recently, Millet provided the light designs for the ballet Lost Illusions, choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky with stage and costume designs by Jérôme Kaplan. The Paquita-reconstruction of the Bavarian State Ballet is now the second joint endeavour of this artistic trio.
