Jan Špunda

Corps de ballet  

Jan Špunda was born in 1998 in Czech Republic and started dancing at Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava. He completed his training at the English National Ballet School from 2014 to 2017. He was part of the Corps de ballet of the Bayerisches Staatsballett in the seasons 2017/18 and 18/19. 

Awards  

  • Third prize at the Youth America Grand Prix finals in New York, 2017  
  • The Outstanding Artistry Award, presented by Dance Europe Magazine
