Sofia Ivanova-Skoblikova

First soloist

Sofia Ivanova-Skoblikova joined the Bayerisches Staatsballett as First Soloist in the 2021/22 season. Prior to that she danced as First Soloist with the Hungarian National Ballet and as Soloist with the Mariinsky Ballet in St. Petersburg. Her repertoire includes roles such as Gamzatti (La Bayadère), Gulnare (Le Corsaire) or Kitri (Don Quixote). She has also performed in choreographies by Frederick Ashton, George Balanchine, Yuri Grigorovich, Wayne McGregor or Alexei Ratmansky.
