The personal data of all users is handled with appropriate care and diligence (Art. 4 of BayDSG). With the visit to staatsoper.de, the Bayerische Staatsoper (or our webspace provider) collects data on every access to the offering (server logfiles). We only use the log data for statistical analyses on the purpose of the visit, security and optimization of the offering. However, a provision of personal data to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive such information will be made if requested in line with the applicable legal disclosure requirements or if we are required by a court decision to disclose such information.

The Bayerische Staatsoper protects your personal data against unauthorized access and unauthorized use or publication. Your personal data is encrypted for this by our website with the SSL process (Secure Socket Layer) when sending it to the Bayerische Staatsoper’s servers. Furthermore, the Bayerische Staatsoper also keeps your personal data in a controlled secure server environment, in which unauthorized access and publication are prevented.

We inform you about ourselves and our offers with our Newsletter. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we need a valid e-mail address from you, where you will receive an aptly-named “opt-in” e-mail. By clicking on the link you confirm that you want to subscribe to the newsletter and activate sending. The provision of further data is optional. The personal ordering data will be collected, processed and used in accordance with the applicable data privacy regulations. With orders on www.staatsoper.de, essentially all data is protected by a secure connection (SSL and TLS) between your PC and our server. The personal ordering data (name, address, e-mail, telephone number, for example) is collected, processed and used in compliance with the data privacy regulations applicable for ticket orders in an automated process and only for the substantiation, arrangement or amendment of the contractual relationship.

It can happen that third party content, such as YouTube videos, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, for example, will be integrated within this online offering. In this respect, the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third party providers”) must always use the user’s IP address, as without the IP address they cannot send the content to the user’s browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We do our very best to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether or not the third party providers store the IP address, for statistical purposes, for example. If this is known to us, we inform the user about it.

They can be identified by words such as "Twitter" or "Follow", combined by a stylized blue bird. Using the buttons, it is possible to share a post or a page of this offering on Twitter or to follow the provider on Twitter.
