Opera for all 2018
As per Munich Opera Festival tradition, the Bayerische Staatsoper and BMW Munich invite you to Opera for all. The programme will include a free open-air concert and a free live opera broadcast at the Max-Joseph-Platz.
When hundreds of people gather together at sunset, sitting on picnic blankets and cushions or simply perching on the ground to listen to music, it creates a very special atmosphere: relaxed, spellbound, joyful. The Opera for all events are something very special even for the Bayerische Staatsoper. We're honoured to be able to offer two open-air evenings to you this season.
Richard Wagner's Parsifal will be broadcast live on the 8 July 2018 from the National Theatre at the Max-Joseph-Platz. General Music Director Kirill Petrenko conducts this new production, while Pierre Audio is in charge of the production.
