Biographies
Selene Zanetti studied in Vicenza and attended the Masterclass in Vocal Technique and Interpretation at the Music Institute O. Old - A. Tonelli in Modena. She is the winner of several prizes like the International Singing Competition New Voices for Opera Gaetano Fraschini and the second prize in the Francisco Viñas International Singing Competition. She debuted in the title role of Suor Angelica at the Teatro Comunale of Cagli and performed in productions of La traviata and Rigoletto at the XII. Festival Maria Callas in Sirmione. Since the 2016/17 season she is stipendiary of the Stiftung Vera und Volker Doppelfeld für Wissenschaft und Kultur.
