Ballett extra: Workshop Geister des Balletts zu Giselle und La Sylphide

The Bavarian State Ballet and the Munich Adult Education Centre (MVHS) are jointly organising a dance and ballet workshop with dance teacher Jack Waldas on dancing ghosts in the ballets ‘Giselle’ and ‘La Sylphide’.
Registration is only possible via the MVHS
The workshop is aimed at adults.

Based on ballet music from the 19th century, participants will learn the dance language of the figures that have appeared on dance stages since the Romantic era. Guided by Jack Waldas, typical movements and means of expression are explored after the warm-up. Based on this movement language, a short dance sequence will be created together.
No previous dance experience is required.
Please bring your own: Cotton socks (no stopper socks) or ballet slippers (you may also dance barefoot) and training clothes.
Please arrive early so that you can change and warm up a little before the event starts at 7.00 pm; admission from 6.30 pm (please ring the bell).
Late arrivals are not entitled to attendance or a refund of fees.

The Bayerisches Staatsballett offers workshops for children with the colleagues from the Kind & Co department. Dates can be found on the Kind & Co website under the heading ‘Workshops’.
