Due to the current conditions of performances, the Bayerisches Staatsballett grabbed the chance to schedule Passages, a second ballet evening which consists of three top-class choreographies. to get to become, a premiere by the young choreographer Philippe Kratz, who was voted choreographer of the year by the magazine Danza&Danza in 2020, will be presented. He is creating a dynamic piece for 7 dancer, accompanied by music of hip-hop songwriter Milo, and poses the question how we design our image of ourselves in the future and how we find ways to locate ourselves in the current social and cultural context. Broken Fall is an exciting choreography for two male dancers and one female dancer, which was created by the British choreographer Russel Maliphant in 2003. Broken Fall addresses the human fear of falling in a permanently tense interaction. The work has last been staged in Munich in 2012 and will now be newly rehearsed. The title of the third production will be anounced soon. All three choreographies are shaped by phenomenons of transition and movements of departure.
