From four to six cameras in the Nationaltheater, performances are broadcast to the entire globe on www.staatsoper.tv. Up to 40 microphones in the orchestra pit and on stage deliver the best possible sound quality. The video image is also produced in high definition (full HD) this season. The stream is offered in a HD resolution with increased bandwidth to provide even better picture quality. All streams (without subtitles or with German or English subtitles) are offered in three different transmission qualities (low, high, HD). The viewers can choose freely between these three qualities and adjust the transmission to the individually available Internet connection
