REGELN FÜR IHREN BESUCH

2G+ RULE

The 2G+ rule applies  for events from 24.11.21.
+++Please note our corona news from 24. November 2021 at www.staatsoper.de/corona-update+++

The visit is therefore only possible for persons who have no COVID symptoms and

  • can prove the protection of a complete COVID-19 vaccination and a negative antigen rapid test (max. 24 hours) or PCR test (max. 48 hours) OR
  • have recovered and been immunised, i.e. have tested positive for coronavirus (in the past 28 days to 6 months) and have a negative rapid antigen test (max. 24 hours) or PCR test (max. 48 hours).

Please bring both of the above-mentioned proofs and a photo ID with you to your visit.

There are several test centres in the vicinity of the National Theatre and the Prinzregententheater where you can take a rapid antigen test before your performance visit.  You can find an up-to-date list of test centres in the vicinity here at www.muenchen.de.

Special regulations for children:

  • Children not yet enrolled in school and children up to 12 years and 3 months who are in regular school testing are exempt from the 2G+ regulation. For school-age children, the pupil ID card or a comparable document proving school status is sufficient.
  • Children and adolescents aged 12 years and 3 months and older must also present proof of vaccination or convalescence and a negative test certificate.

MASKS

Due to the current high incidence of infection, the wearing of a mask is still compulsory during the entire stay in the theatre. This also applies at the seat during the performance. It must be an FFP2 mask or a mask with an equivalent standard of protection.
Children under the age of six are exempt from the mask requirement. Children and young people up to the age of 16 may wear a medical mask ("surgical mask") instead of an FFP2 mask. Further exemptions, for example on the basis of medical certificates, are not permitted.

ADMISSION

Admission to the respective event in the Nationaltheater begins 60 minutes before the performance starts. Entry to the Nationaltheater is via the entrance to the Freunde-Foyer (Alfons-Goppel-Straße) or the main entrance. The most convenient entrance is indicated on your ticket. We advise you to plan with time to spare for the admission-process into the theatre.

CLOAKROOM

Please use the cloakrooms according to your seats. All visitors with seats in the stalls may also use the cloakroom in the Capriccio-Saal. This can be reached via our entrance in the Maximilanstraße or optionally via our LUDWIG II. Restaurant.

SHOW SOLIDARITY

Be a hygiene role model! Needless to say, it’s hard to keep track of the latest hygiene rules… you do not of course know all the current hygiene rules, hygiene etiquette or similar advice providers. Thank you acting as a role model, others will follow your example. And our front of house team will open the doors for you, so you get to your seat without touching any handles

ARE YOU FEELING WELL?

Please only visit us if you are healthy. If you have cold or flu symptoms or your immune system is weakened by a previous condition, we would ask you heavy heartedly to please stay at home. Persons showing symptoms associated with COVID-19 are excluded from attending the event. If you have had close contact with a person suffering from COVID-19 in the last two weeks, are subject to quarantine measures or have been diagnosed with the virus yourself, attendance is also not possible. Please use our ticket exchange (kartenboerse.staatsoper.de) if you are unable to take up your ticket due to the above reasons.
