The programme of the 2018/19 season is now official! General Manager Nikolaus Bachler, General Music Director Kirill Petrenko and Ballet Director Igor Zelensky presented eight opera premieres and two Bayerisches Staatsballett premieres at today's season announcement. You'll find the full 2018/19 programme right now online, you can browse through our Digital Season Preview, and order the print copy.

Advance sales 2018/19

 

Tickets for the new season can be reserved as of immediately. Your order will then be processed on the following dates:

  •  From three months before the performance
  • From 21 June 2018 for all performances in September and October (including Festival Week)
  • On 11 January 2019 for all dates of Ballet Festival Week 2019 
  • From 1 February 2019 for all dates of the Munich Opera Festival 2019

Box office, telephone and online sales begin on the following dates, at 10 am:

  •  Two months respectively before a performance (and on the previous working day) 
  • On 19 May 2018 for subscriptions 
  • On 21 July 2018 for all performances in September and October (including Festival Week) 
  • On 10 November 2018 for gift subscriptions 
  • On 24 November for themed concerts 2019 
  • On 11 February 2019 for all dates of Ballet Festival Week 2019
  • On 28 March 2018 for remaining tickets for the Festivals 2019

The first sales day for the Munich Opera Festival 2019 (approx. 450 tickets in categories V to VIII in the Nationaltheater, further tickets/categories for other venues) will be on Saturday, 19 January 2019, from 10 am to 7 pm.
