as already announced, we are happy to welcome a variety of renouned international stars to our stage in the 2018/19 season.
Vladimir Shklyarov will return in the title role of Onegin in John Cranko's masterpiece on 1 March 2019. For tickets please go here. Vladimir Shklyarov will also dance the title role in Spartacus on 1 April 2019. Maria Shirinkina will be dancing with him as Phrygia. The ticket sale has already started, please click here.
Anna Laudere and Edvin Revazov, principals of the Hamburg Ballet, will be dancing also the upcoming two performances of John Neumeier’s The Lady of the Camellias on 08 and 12 April 2019 in the title role of Marguerite and Armand. For tickets check here.
Ashley Bouder, principal dancer of the New York City Ballet, will perform for the first time with the Bayerisches Staatsballett in the season 2018/19. She will dance in Rubies in George Balanchine’s Jewels on 11 April 2019 during the Ballet Festival Week. Tickets are available here.
Natalia Osipova and David Hallberg will dance the roles of Tatjana and Onegin in John Cranko's Onegin on 13 April 2019 as part of the Ballet Festival Week. Tickets are available here. The performance is part of the 2019 Ballet Festival Week.
Ivan Vasiliev, Honored Artist of Russia und principal at the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, will be giving his role debut as Petrucchio in John Cranko’s The Taming of the Shrew on 14 April 2019. The performance is part of the 2019 Ballet Festival Week. Tickets are available here.
