LUDWIG ZWEI - restaurant with new culinary offer: Opera in three acts

In cooperation with Dallmayr Theatergastronomie, the Bayerische Staatsoper presents LUDWIG ZWEI, a completely new restaurant on the ground floor of the Nationaltheater.
In addition to the regular range of dishes, you have the opportunity to enjoy a special three-course menu at LUDWIG ZWEI with the "Opera in Three Acts". In the context of Tristan and Isolde, you can look forward, for example, to the "Forbidden Love" (a trio of pasture-raised beef tartare, roast beef and carpaccio) or also to the "original" love potion (Potion oder poison?): a cocktail of quartered strawberries & elderberries.

In addition to the menu, the well known classics and a changing range of dishes are still on the menu at Dallmayr Theatergastronomie.

RHEINGOLD bar-bistro

The RHEINGOLD bar-bistro offers guests a selection of long drinks, exclusive bottlings of wines, selected champagnes or sparkling wines. Special soft drinks developed especially for opera guests or Dallmayr tea & coffee specialities are also on offer.

In addition, there is fine bar food - both before the performances and during the intermissions: canapés, a portion of beef tartare, various cheese specialities, filled mini brioches - for example with shellfish, pulled beef or seasonal vegetables. In addition, popular classics are served in small portions as a "bar version", such as the "Opera Plate", Dallmayr salmon specialities or the "Lukull Plate" - all of course with specialities from the Dallmayr Delicatessenhaus.
