Ballet FESTIVAL WEEK 2027
The 2027 Ballet Festival Week links up with some major successes. Following on from Wings of Memory, dance theatre legend Pina Bausch’s creative team returns to Munich in 2025 with Orpheus und Eurydike – by Christoph W. Gluck. Tanzoper by Pina Bausch, a dance opera in eight exclusive performances. This season the work will be staged exclusively as part of the Ballet Festival Week. The lead roles, Orpheus, Eurydike and Amor, will be both sung and danced here. The performance is complemented by a choir, curated in collaboration with the Bayerische Staatsoper.
