COVID19-NEWS SEPTEMBER 2021
With the current situation: The global pandemic compels us to respond again and again to new developments and regulations. This can also have effects on our available tickets. We’ll keep you up-to-date here!
The decisions of the Bavarian State Government in September 2021 and the announced relief for theatres make it possible for us to reopen our theatre at bigger capacity in time for the start of the season.
For the September performances, this means that the rows of seats previously left empty will now also be sold. If you already have tickets for a performance in September, the seats next to you will not be occupied by other visitors. For performances from October on we sell all seats in the hall.
TOP PRIORITY FOR YOUR HEALTH
Health protection for you as well as for our staff continues to have top priority! Of course, we will continue to implement all current hygiene rules. For this please note our site www.staatsoper.de/stay-healthy.
The following regulations apply to your visit to the theatre from September onwards:
- From 18 September, attendance at performances is only possible for people with a negative test, for fully vaccinated or demonstrably recovered persons (3G rule).
- Wearing a medical mask ("surgical mask") or FFP2 mask during the entire stay in the house is compulsory - also at the seat during the performance.
Thank you for your support!
PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE
The quickest way to get opera tickets is online via our programme. You’ll reach it quick and easy on our website via the little calendar icon at the top right. You can filter here for any times or topics to get to the performance you want.
On the performance’s page you will then also find the information on ticket prices and available ticket categories. The ticket link will take you directly to our online shop. You have the option here of choosing the seat you want in the seating plan and paying for the tickets by credit card, direct debit or immediate bank transfer. You then receive the tickets by e-mail as “Ticket direct” or can have them sent to your home.
With online sales a processing fee of € 2 per ticket is levied.
ADVANCE ORDER IN WRITING
Is the ticket link of the performance you want not active yet? If so tickets for the event are not on sale yet. (Please note our advance sales periods for this.)
The “Request tickets” button will take you to our orders in writing form, where you can reserve tickets for yourself.
Your contact and payment details and the price category you’d like are requested in the order form. We inform you in good time before the sale of tickets not for subscribers begins whether your ticket request was successful or not. If the demand exceeds our ticket offering, a lottery decides who will get the tickets – irrespective of the date of receipt. All orders in writing are processed on the same monthly date two months before the respective performance date.
With orders in writing a € 2 processing fee per ticket is due.
PURCHASE TICKETS BY PHONE OR E-MAIL
Telephone orders and e-mail orders are possible via our call centre. You can purchase tickets here for all performances for which tickets not for subscribers are already on sale. Please note our advance sales periods for this. A processing fee of € 2 per ticket is levied with phone and e-mail sales.
