DISCOUNTS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
People with disabilities are not only welcome here, they also receive discounts on some of our ticket prices. Our venues have designated, free parking spaces for wheelchair users. Accompanying persons also receive a 50 percent discount. All requirements and other discounts for people with disabilities are explained below. Please also note our information on barrier-free visits.
PERSONS WITH SEVERE DISABILITIES
Persons with severe disabilities do not receive a discount. However, if proof of accompaniment is provided (mark “B”), the accompanying person receives a 100 percent discount.
WHEELCHAIR USERS
Seats are available for accompanying persons at a 50 percent discount; wheelchair users receive free admission.
Seats for wheelchair users are located in row 19 of the stalls. There are two seats on the right and two on the left. Companions sit in row 19 (seats 763 and 762) and row 20 (seats 791 and 792) of the stalls.
Two of the four seats are reserved for advance sales by mail. Two seats are reserved for sales at the box office and by telephone. Sales begin one week before the start of regular open sales. Please note our advance sales deadlines.
DEAF PEOPLE
People with hearing impairments (marked Gl on their disability card) and their accompanying person receive a 50 percent discount on the regular ticket price.
VISUALLY IMPAIRED
Visually impaired persons (marked Bl on their disability card) and their accompanying person receive a 50 percent discount on the regular ticket price.
WAR DISABLED
Persons severely disabled as a result of war or military service, or persons disabled in concentration camps (marked EB or VB) and their accompanying persons receive a 50 percent discount on the regular ticket price.
PROOF BY DISABILITY CARD
The discounts mentioned apply to disability cards with the codes EB, BI, VB, GI or B. The corresponding information must be entered on the severely disabled person's card, otherwise the discount cannot be claimed.
