The Bayerische Staatsoper's community program is aimed at a diverse range of people in and around Munich: the focus is on cultural participation, participation in the sense of shared responsibility, and the creation of a piazza for creative exchange and socio-political discussions. Opera, music, and dance are art forms that can reach everyone—in the Nationaltheater, on the streets, and in public squares.
