Carolin Ast

Carolin studied education (Bachelor's degree), is a qualified dance teacher and a state-recognised social pedagogue (in training). As a freelance dance teacher, she has been teaching children and young people at various dance schools in southern Germany for several years, specialising in ballet, jazz dance and contemporary dance. Through the realisation of dance projects at primary and secondary schools and the choreographic participation in various children's dance productions (including Alice in Wonderland as part of the Landesgartenschau Baden-Württemberg 2021, RESTART - an internal school production in Kreuzlingen, CH), Carolin Ast can look back on a broad range of experience as a dance educator. In her classes, she emphasises the discovery of dance as an individual means of expression and aims to help children and young people discover the technical and artistic aspects of dance as a form of expression by teaching them a good basic technique and by using playful and creative methods.
