Rio Barker

Rio hails from London, UK. He began his training at the Hammond School in Chester, before moving on to the English National Ballet School in 2023, from which he graduated in 2026. During his time at the school, he took part in several school productions, including the 2025 Summer Performance at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre (Graduation Ball by David Lichine, Mozart Concerto by Renato Peroni), the 2024 Summer Performance at London’s Linbury Theatre (Of Space And Time by Andrew McNicol) and a project at the Wallace Collection in May 2025, With the National Youth Ballet, he performed at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London in the autumn of 2024, appearing in Out Loud by Neus Gil Cortés and Open Water (Just What You Wanted) by Daniel Davidson. Starting with the the 2026-27 season, he will be a member of Bayerisches Junior Ballett München.
