Doef Beernink
Doef is a lighting designer for theatre and events, active since 2001. Trained at Enschede Art Academy in Monumental Design, Doef combines strong visual storytelling with technical expertise in lighting, set construction and photography. His work spans music theatre (productions Flairck, Zenga, and Quadro Flamenco) and contemporary dance, implementing light designer Tom Visser's designs with choreographers such as Lukas Timulak, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman (Flockwork, Cacti, Tyll), Hofesh Shechter (Life Is a Show), and Crystal Pite (Solo Echo, The Statement, Partita).
