John Carpenter

John Carpenter studied piano at Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated in May 2014. He studied voice with Graham Sanders. 

He first appeared on stage as a member of the Cincinnati Opera Company Chorus in 2013. Since the 2014/15 season John Carpenter has been a member of the Bayerische Staatsoper's Opera Studio. As a member of the Opera Studio he has performed as the Journalist in Lulu, Raimbaud in Le Comte Ory (Opera Studio production) and the Sergeant in La bohème. In the 2015/16 season, he will perform in Manon Lescaut, Madama Butterfly and Ariadne auf Naxos as well as in the Opera Studio's production of Albert Herring by Benjamin Britten.
