Vera Cortell

Vera Cortell began her dance training in the US and began her studies at the Boston Ballet School in 2009. From 2018-2021 she studied at Intergrarte and later at the San Francisco Ballet School from 2021-2023. During the 2023/24 season Vera was a member of the Boston Ballet Graduate Program. During her training Vera performed with the San Francisco Ballet in Mikko Nissinen’s Raymonda and The Nutcracker, Ivan Liška’s Le Corsaire, George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments and Sir Frederick Ashton’s Cinderella. With the San Francisco Ballet Vera performed in Helgi Tomasson’s Swan Lake, Giselle, The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet, Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella, Lew Christiansen’s Beauty and the Beast and Myles Thatcher’s Afterlight. Vera has taken part in summer courses at the Dutch National Ballet Academy, San Francisco Ballet School, School of American Ballet and Boston Ballet School Summer Dance Program. From the 2023/24 season, Vera is a member of the Bayerisches Junior Ballett München as an apprentice of the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
