Clement Crisp

Clement Crisp is one of the most famous and respected dance critics and journalists of our days. Already since 1970 he wrote dance reviews for The Financial Time. Aside he has contributed to many periodicals, written programme notes for the world’s greatest and well-known companies and is the author or co-author of many books on dance history, dancers, and design for dance. Today Clement Crisp is Associate Professor at the University Notre Dame (London Faculty). In 1992 he was made a Knight of the Order of Dannebrog (Denmark) and awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Award of the Royal Academy of Dance.
