Naia Dobrota

trainee

Originally from Slovenia, Naia Dobrota began her dance training in Singapore at L'Academie de Danse. She then moved to Paris, where she completed her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse Paris and obtained her French Baccalauréat. She has danced in choreographies by Merce Cunningham, François Mauduit, Trisha Brown, Boris Charmatz, Julien Guérin and Goyo Montero. She has won prizes at the Concours International de danse Classique de Grasse, and competed in the 2022 edition of the Prix de Lausanne. She returned to Lausanne in 2023 for the Partner School Choreographic Project. During her training, Naia has participated in intensive courses in various cities, including Zurich, Paris, Monaco, Lyon, and Vienna. From the 2023/24 season, Naia is a member of Bayerisches Junior Ballett München as a trainee of Bayerisches Staatsballett.
