Natalya Domratcheva
was born in the Ukraine and is today, at the early age of 21, already a leading soloist of the National Ballet in Kiev. She got her professional education at the Academy in Kiev by the renowned teacher Alla Lagoda who very soon noticed her exceptional talent.
At the age of 16, Natalia Domracheva won the Grand Prix of the Ukrainian National Competition as well as the silver medal of the Prix de Lausanne. Only one year later, in Moscow, she received the silver medal in the contest's junior class and this year also in the senior class.
Since she was a child, Natalia Domracheva has performed on the stage of the National Theatre in Kiev where, nowadays, she dances the important ballerina parts of her large repertoire: f. ex. Giselle, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Kitri in Don Quijote as well as one of the friends in Raymonda.
International guest performances with the Kiev Ballet have led the young ballerina to Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Switzerland as well as to Japan and Mexico.
