Mateus Gati

Born in Santo André, São Paulo (Brazil), Mateus graduated from the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil (2023) before moving to Germany to complete his professional dance training at the School of the Hamburg Ballet (2025). During his time in Hamburg he performed regularly with the Hamburg Ballet and was to be seen in John Neumeier's The Lady of the Camellias, Anna Karenina, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Odyssey, A Streetcar Named Desire and Nijinsky. From the 2025/26 season, Mateus Gati joined the Bayerisches Junior Ballett München as an apprentice of the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
