Giulia Bruschi & Riccardo Mainetti

Set designer Riccardo Mainetti trained at the Accademia di Brera in Milan. Set and costume designer Giulia Bruschi studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and set design at the Accademia di Brera in Milan. Together they collaborated in 2021 on the stage design for Aroldo by Giuseppe Verdi for the opening of the Teatro Galli in Rimini. In 2023, they collaborated on the stage and costume design for Aida at the Teatro Sociale di Como. In 2025, Mainetti and Bruschi won the Ring Award with their concept for Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo. They will make their debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper in the 2026/27 season with the stage design for a new production of Maria Stuarda. (2026)
