Guillermo González Maroto
Born in Granada (Spain), Guillermo González Maroto trained at the Professional Conservatory of Dance Reina Sofía in Granada (2013-22), the Royal Conservatory of Dance "Mariemma" in Madrid (2022-2023) and completed his professional training at the School of the Hamburg Ballet (2023-2025). He has participated in numerous workshops and summer intensives including the Professional Conservatory of Dance Oriol Marturell in Barcelona, the Compañia Nacional de Danza and the Royal Ballet School (2022). He has gained professional experience performing with the Hamburg Ballet in their productions of John Neumeier's Nijinsky, Romeo and Juliet, “Illusions like Swan Lake”, “Anna Karenina” and went on tour with the company to Beijing performing John Neumeier's A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2025. Guillermo was also to be seen onstage with the Slovenian National Ballet in Le Corsaire (José Martinez), with the Ballet of Opéra national de Paris in Le Fils Prodigue (George Balanchine) and with Sasha Waltz & Guests in Human Requiem. From the 2025/26 season, Guillermo González Maroto joined the Bayerisches Junior Ballett München as an apprentice of the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
