Wiebke Hüster
Born 1965 in Bremen, Wiebke Hüster works as a ballet critic for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. She writes for the art market of the FAZ and FAS and reviews specialised books. Deutschlandradio Kultur and Deutschlandfunk broadcast on a regular base her radio features. She studied dramatics and comperative literature at the Freie Universität Berlin, ballet at the Ballet academy of the Deutsche Oper Berlin and Cunningham-technique with Janine Schneider. In 1990 she started to work for the festival “Dance in August”. At the Deutsche Nationaltheater in Weimar she became assistant of Joachim Schlömer in 1994. After that she worked at the Theater Basel and for the feature pages of the Basler Zeitung. Since 1999 she lives in Berlin.
