Johannes Kammler

Johannes Kammler, born in Augsburg, gained initial musical experience with the Augsburger Domsingknaben. He studied voice at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with Ruldof Piernay. 

Furthermore, he has participated in various masterclasses, including ones with Edith Wiens and Wolfgang Holzmair. In 2015 he was one of the finalists in the voice competition "Das Lied" in Berlin. He performed at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London and at the Osterfestspiele in Baden-Baden. Moreover, he has been seen performing with Berliner Philharmoniker, Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar de Venezuela and London Symphony Orchestra. Since the 2015/16 season the Stiftung Vera und Volker Doppelfeld für Wissenschaft und Kultur's stipendiary is a member of the Bayerische Staatsoper's Opera Studio.
