Paola Kumanaku

Scholarship holder

Italy born Paola Kumanaku started her training at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan, before she moved to Munich in 2011 to complete her training at the Ballet-Academy Munich at the University of Music and Performing Arts.

She already gathered experience at the Teatro alla Scala in productions like The Nutcracker (Nacho Duato), Ipnos (Davide Bombana) and in three major works of Balanchine (Serenade, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Theme and Variations).

Since the beginning of the season 2014/2015, she is a scholarship holder of the Heinz-Bosl-Foundation and dances with the Bavarian State Ballet II.
