Magdalena Lonska

Soloist

Magdalena Lonska startet dancing at the national schools of Poznan and Warsaw and continued her professional training at the dance academy in Monte Carlo. She won twice the second place in a national competition in Danzig.


For the season 2001/2002 she joined the French company Europe Danse and danced in ballets of Hans van Manen, Nacho Duato and Jiří Kylián. After that she got engaged at the Opera in Bordeaux and danced - among other parts - Clara in The Nutcracker, the title role in Giselle, the sanguine temperament in the Four Temperaments and Polyhymnia in Balanchines Apollo.

Magdalena Lonska joined the Bavarian State Ballet in the 2004/2005 season and danced in Forsythe's Limb's Theorem and Itzik Galili's So nah so fern. She was promoted to a Soloist at the beginning of the season 2011/2012.
