Marzia Marzo
Marzia Marzo was born in 1991 in Italy. After successfully finishing her piano studies with Corrado De Bernart, she continued her studies in voice with Amelia Felli, graduating at the "Tito Schipa" conservatory in Lecce.
In 2013 she won the first prize at the Josep Mirabent I Magrans competition in Barcelona. Her appearances on stage have included Susanna in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro in 2012 as well as Idrusa in the opera 800, L'assedio di Otranto by Francesco Libetta in 2013. Under the direction of Andrea Crastolla she sang Charpentiers Te Deum. During the Biennale in Venezia she performed the last non-published work of the composer Admir Shurtai. Since the 2014/15 season Marzia Marzo is a member of the Bayerische Staatsoper's Opera Studio.
