Besim Morina
Born 1983 in Gjilan, Kosovo, Besim Morina began in 2003 his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana, Albania, where he graduated in 2007 as a Stage- and Costume design.
From 2008-2010 he worked as a Stage- and Costume designer in the Theater in Gjilan for the plays Red Snow, Birth Comedy, The Colonel Bird and others. During this time he designed costumes for the film Donkeys of the Border and other short films in Kosovo. Since 2010 he lives and works in Zürich. 2011 set design for Die Visionaerinnen after Sophie Taeuber - Arp at Cabaret Voltaire, and participation at the exhibition100 years DADA New York at Cabaret Voltaire. 2012 setdesign for Faust 1-6 after Goethe by Artistic Director Stephan Müller. 2013 he graduated as Master in Stage design at ZHDK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste) with his project 1618 The Golden Section for 2 dancers and 377 lamps.
