Petr Nekoranec

Petr Nekoranec was born in 1992 in Nové Dvory, Czech Republic. He studied voice at the conservatory in Pardubice/Czech Republic with Jarmila Chaloupková and currently with Antonio Carangelo. 


In 2012 he sang Vašek (Die verkaufte Braut) at the National Theatre of Prague under the direction of Jan Chalupecký. In 2013 he performed as Lindoro (L'Italiana in Algeri) at the Teatro Nuovo in Torino. With the Coro Filarmonico Veneto and the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta he appeared on the concert stage in Mozart's requiem and the coronation mass. In the 2013/14 season he sang Servitore in Mirandolina. Since the 2014/15 season he has been a member of the Bayerische Staatsoper's Opera Studio. While there, he has performed in the Opera Studio's production as the title role in Le Comte Ory by Gioachino Rossini. Among other roles, he has sung Albazar in Il turco in Italia and Parpignol in La bohème. This season he will sing the title role in Albert Herring (Opera Studio production) and will appear in Der Rosenkavalier, Un ballo in maschera and Ariadne auf Naxos on the National Theatre's stage.
