Daisy Phillips

Born in Oakland, California, Daisy studied in Berkeley, San Francisco, London and Geneva, where she was subsequently a member of the Ballet Junior and the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève. She has been working intensively with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui since 2007, has performed as a dancer in several of his creations and continues to rehearse his works today. She has worked with Alain Platel, Quan Bui Ngoc and Constanza Macras and is also a co-founder of the theatre collective IfHuman in Brussels. In the 2015/16 season, she was a member of GöteborgsOperans Danskompani. She has been working with choreographer Serge Aimé Coulibaly since 2017 and appeared in his production Balau at Münchner Kammerspiele in autumn 2024. She also has an ongoing creative partnership with theatre and opera director Cecilia Ligorio.
