Sergei Polunin

Sergei Polunin was born in the Ukraine and joined the Royal Ballet School, London, in 2003 aged 13. In 2007 he graduated into the Company as an Artist, was promoted to soloist in 2008, to first soloist in 2009 and to principal in 2010. He resigned from the company in 2012 and joined the Stanislavsky and Nemirowich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre as a senior principal. Today he works as a freelance artist and is permanent guest artist for the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
