Lucas Praetorius

Scholarship holder of the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung

Lucas Praetorius was born in Denmark and attended the Royal Danish Ballet School from an early age. During this time Lucas performed with the Royal Danish Ballet in productions from August Bournonville, George Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon and Nicolaj Hübbe and attended summer intensive programs from the Royal Ballet School, School of American Ballet and the National Ballet School of Canada. In 2017 Lucas moved to Hamburg continuing his studies in the Theatre Class of the School of the Hamburg Ballet where he performed regularly with the main company in a range of repertoire from John Neumeier. Praetorius joined the Bayerisches Junior Ballett München in the 2019/20 season as a scholarship holder of the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung.
