Tomaž Premzl
After studying multimedia production in Maribor, Tomaž Premzl has been a lighting technician and lighting designer at the Slovenian National Theatre there since 1996. In this role, he has worked on classic productions such as Swan Lake (Viktor Litvinov) and Paquita (Irina Ivanova) as well as modern ballet productions such as Home (Gaj Žmavc), The Golden Age (Zoran Marković) and Nychthemeron (Staša Zurovac).
He has been working regularly with Edward Clug for many years and has designed the lighting for productions such as Le Sacre du printemps (Ballet Zurich, 2016), Peer Gynt (Vienna State Ballet, 2018), Faust (Ballet Zurich, 2018), Мастер и Маргарита (Bolshoi Theatre Moscow, 2021), Coppélia (Theater Basel 2023) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Berlin State Ballet, 2025) and Castor et Pollux (Grand Théâtre de Genève, 2026)
