Sofija Radovanović
Sofija hails from Belgrade, Serbia. She initially trained at the High Ballet School “Lujo Davičo” in her home town (2020–2024) and was a member of the Youth Ballet Company at the Artistic Dance Institute in Belgrade (2020–2023). She completed her studies at the Ballet Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, graduating in 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During her studies, she performed on the stage of Munich's Nationaltheater as part of the Sunday Morning performance series, produced by Heinz Bosl-Stiftung. Here she danced in works such as the Divertissement from Napoli (August Bournonville), the Grand Pas Hongrois from Raymonda (Ray Barra after Petipa), Les Patineurs (Frederick Ashton), Binding Pulse (Simone Sandroni) and JIT (Kinsun Chan). She also performed at the Opera and Theatre Madlenianum in Belgrade in The Nutcracker, portraying roles such as Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy. She further developed professional experience through internships with the Bavarian State Ballet (2024) and the Czech National Ballet (2025), as well as through projects with the National Theatre in Belgrade.Her awards include First Prize at the Republic Competition of Ballet Schools in Serbia (2021, 2023) and finalist placement at the Ballet Grand Prix in Vienna (2021), where she also received a Special Award for Outstanding Performance.She has participated in numerous international summer intensives and workshops, including programs at the Academy of Princess Grace in Monaco (2022), YAGP Nervi Festival Summer Intensive (2023), Piran Dance Festival (2022), and workshops at the Ballet Academy in Munich with Craig Davidson (2025), Juliette Rahon (2024), and Daria Klimentová (2024). Starting with the 2026-27 season, she will be a member of Bayerisches Junior Ballett München.
