Anna Rajah
Anna Rajah was born in 1987 in Darlington, England. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD) and at the Royal College of Music with Timothy Evans Jones in London.
Her first appearances on stage include Drusilla in L'incoronazione di Poppea, Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro and Lady Ellington in Offenbachs La Vie Parisienne. Furthermore, Anna Rajah has sung the Princess in L'enfant et les sortilèges, Alceste in Arianna di Creta and Siren in Rinaldo as well as Sandrina in La finta giardiniera. Since the 2014/15 season Anna Rajah has been a member of the Opera Studio of the Bayerische Staatsoper. Her roles have included the Schleppträgerin in Elektra, Paggio in Rigoletto as well as the Countess in the Opera Studio production of Le Comte Ory at the Cuvilliés theatre. In the 2015/16 season she will appear in Aida, Werther and Albert Herring (Opera Studio production) as well as other productions in Munich.
