Julia Reid

 

Corps de ballet

Julia Reid received her training at the Canada National Ballet School. During a student exchange program she trained at the Hamburg Ballett Schule, trained by Gigi Hyatt, Kevin Haigen and Anna Polikarpova, as well as at the Royal Danish School. 


She danced with the ensemble of the Canada National Ballet School in classical ballets like Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake or Raymonda and interpreted contemporary works by William Forsythe: the second detail, In the middle somewhat elevated and Limb’s Theorem.

With the beginning of the 2015/2016 season, Julia Reid joined the Corps de ballet of Bayerisches Staatsballett.
