Ksenia Ryzhkova

Principal

Ksenia Ryzhkova was born in Moscow in 1994 and started dancing at the age of six. In 2004 she became a student of the Bolshoi Academy in Moscow, where she worked with Marina Leonova amongst others. After her diploma she was engaged at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre in Moscow. In 2016/2017 Ksenia Ryzhkova joined the Bayerisches Staatsballett as a principal and danced here for three seasons. In 2019/20 she joined the Ballett Zürich for one season. With the beginning of the 2020/21 season she returned as principal dancer to the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
