Marion Schwarz
Marion Schwarz was born in Luzern. She began her dance education at the Swiss School of Ballet in Zurich. From 1995 till 1997 she studied at the John Cranko School Stuttgart. The same year she got a contract as apprentice at the State Theatre Stuttgart, where she danced amongst others in Swan Lake. At the same time she was guest dancer in Giselle at the Theatre Kaiserslautern. From 1999 to 2001 she was Corps de ballet member and soloist at the Theatre in Halberstadt. Next to Romeo and Juliet she danced in Sleeping Beauty and other ballets. In 2001 she became soloist at the State Theatre Schwerin where she got the opportunity to work with Marc Bogaerts (Dorian Gray, Die Vier Jahreszeiten), Richard Wherlock (Verklärte Nacht) and Jean Renshaw (Orlando is death). As a guest dancer at the Theatre Dortmund she danced in Symphonie classique (Xin Peng Wang). Since autumn 2006 she has been member of the Corps de ballet at the Bavarian State Ballet.
