Maria Shirinkina

Principal, guest (Mariinsky Ballet)

Maria Shirinkina was born in Perm/Russia and graduated from the Perm State School of Dance in 2006 where she was trained amongst others by Ninel Silvanovich. She joined the Mariinsky Ballet Company right after her diploma. In the 2016/2017 season, she joined the company of the Bayerisches Staatsballett as a Principal together with her husband Vladimir Shklyarov. Both of them return for productions of the Bayerisches Staatsballett as guests in the season 2017/2018.
