Alexandra Somova

Corps de ballet

Alexandra Somova was born in St Petersburg where she trained and graduated in 2011 from the Vaganova Academy. She joined the Mariinsky Ballet in the same year and has toured with the company to the USA, Italy, Germany, Brazil and China. In March 2017, she joined the corps de ballet of the Bayerisches Staatsballett. From March 2017 until the end of the 2020/21 season, Alexandra Somova was engaged as a member of the Corps de ballet with the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
