Linus Stickdorn
Linus Stickdorn, born in Bad Oeynhausen, received his first trumpet lessons at the age of seven from Gerhard Sowa at the Löhne Music School. His enthusiasm for music became apparent early on and has accompanied him ever since.

After graduating from high school, he continued his musical education at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater in the class of Prof. Matthias Höfs, where he has been pursuing a bachelor's degree since 2023.
He received important artistic inspiration in master classes and lessons with Manuel Mischel, Johannes Bartmann, Reinhold Friedrich, Jeroen Berwaerts, Wolfgang Guggenberger, and Gábor Tarkövi. He gained his first formative orchestral experience from 2019 to 2022 as a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Youth Orchestra.
In March 2023, Linus was awarded the Music Prize of the Society for the Promotion of Westphalian Cultural Work. Since fall 2024, he has also been a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation. He has been part of the Hermann Levi Academy since April 2025.
