Leonor de Távora

Leonor de Távora, born in Portugal, was trained at the National Dance Conservatory in Lisbon. Having been engaged at the Portuguese National Ballet since 1996, she joined Heinz Spoerli’s Zurich Ballet in 2002. Since autumn 2004 she is a member of Bavarian State Ballet, participating in the production of William Forsythe’s Limb’s Theorem.

Her repertoire in Lissabon includes solo parts in a ballet of Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, In the Middle and Somewhat Elevated of William Forsythe as well as Balanchine´s Agon and fairy variations in The Sleeping Beauty.
