Freya Wilkinson

Trainee

Freya Wilkinson was born in Australia and began her dance training at The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet under the Direction of Christine Walsh. In 2016 she was a semi-finalist of the Prix de Lausanne before moving to London to complete her training at the Royal Ballet School. Here she performed with the Royal Ballet in productions of Firebird, The Nutcracker and La Bayadere as well as with the Birmingham Royal Ballet at the Royal Albert Hall. During her time at the school she was also exposed to the choreography of Frederick Ashton, Kenneth Macmillan, David Bintley, Nacho Duato, Marius Petipa and Mats Ek. Freya joined the Bayerisches Junior Ballett München in the 2019/20 season as an apprentice of the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
